Special Occasion Songs
Included in this book:
"When
He Comes Again"
Pretty piano accompaniment suitable for the addition of a flute
or voilin.
"Jesus Has Risen"
I've included piano accompaniment, a vocal descant, and bells.
Choose just one added element or use all three. I've also
included it in two different keys to accomodate varied abilities
in singing the descant.
"I Often Go Walking"
Beautiful piano accompaniment this song deserves. I've also
written a separate instrumental descant to be used with the
original music in the Children's Songbook.
"Mother's Day Medley"
A simple to put together medley of "Mother, I Love
You", "Mother Dear", and "The Dearest
Name" - songs which many of your Primary children should
already know!
"Mother"
A song I wrote for our Primary to sing, but because of lack of
communication, it was performed by our Young women. Individual
copies of this music is also available.
"My Dad/Daddy's Homecoming"
Standard favorites which I just combined together with a short
interlude and modulation.
"Fathers"
This is a beautiful song which should not be sung without
including all three verses. I've written accompaniment which I
hope does it justice.
"Pioneer Medley"
Just like the Mother's Day Medley, I took three well-known
pioneer songs and put them together in a medley. The songs
include "Pioneer Children Sang as They Walked", Little
Pioneer Children" which can be sung as a round, and
"The Handcart Song".
"When I Am Baptized"
a favorite at 8 yr. old baptisms. I've written very simple
flowing accompaniment to accomodate even a small group (or
individual) as well as accompanying another instrument.
*Added Features*
Since we are all studying the Book of Mormon this year, I've
included some related songs.
"Book of Mormon Medley"
I figured out a way to put together "Book of Mormon
Stories" and "The Books in the Book of Mormon".
They're even sung together simultaneously. You'd just have to
experience it to understand it!
"Nephi's Courage"
Fun piano accompaniment to this upbeat, uplifting song.
And, with the continual announcements of new temples around the world...

Love To See the Temple"
Beautiful piano accompaniment with a modulation to a new key for
the second verse. Add a flute or violin between verses and you'll
have a special musical number sure to bring the spirit in the
hearts of all.
